Hi there, aspiring author!
Prepare to make an impact.
Ditch overwhelm and fear.
My desire is to show you how to write your book in a way that both engages your readers AND honors God.
You have a story to tell; an important message to share. You know you need to write your book.
- you don’t understand the process,
- you’re frustrated from conflicting advice & confusing tech, and
- fears continually crop up, preventing you from moving forward.
It’s tempting to throw in the towel and walk away.
Please don’t give up on your story – or yourself!
You can do it and I’m here to help you every step of the way.
Remember: someone (potentially lots of someones) is waiting for your book.
DISCOVER A BETTER WAY OF WRITING!
There’s a lot of advice out there about how to write a book. Some that’s excellent and some that’s, well, not so great.
Most of what’s out there is general in nature.
What I’ve been led to share with you, however, is specifically for writers who desire to put Jesus first in their lives, including their writing.
This doesn’t mean that you have to write devotionals or Bible studies (although you certainly can).
The book you’re called to write might be
- your life story/memoir,
- a business book,
- a children’s book,
- a how-to book,
the list could go on.
To help you, I’ve created a variety of resources and services to guide you step-by-step through the writing and self-publishing process – God’s way.
This also doesn’t mean you can’t have fun while you write.
Books shouldn’t be boring, and neither should the writing process!
I offer various fun and beneficial opportunities for writers to connect and engage with each other…and their readers.
Let’s grow in faith and write in Truth together!
Ghostwriting & Co-Authoring
Ghostwriting/co-authoring is my high-end service for individuals who prefer the luxury of outsourcing the writing and self-publishing of their book while retaining their voice, vision, and copyright. This is NOT one of those cookie-cutter book services that limit the number of interviews, your word/page count, photo inclusions, and binding options. I provide custom, concierge-style services that exceed your expectations.
You’ve worked hard to write a compelling, inspiring and informative story. Now is not the time to skimp on the finishing touches that can attract potential readers to your book and turn them into clients, loyal fans and happy reviewers. Each book that you write is a reflection of you. Don’t risk compromising your reputation or brand. Allow me to help you make the best impression possible.
Get your questions answered and begin to make strides with your manuscript! Talking things through with an experienced book coach can help you clarify what is really holding you back, offer you next-step guidance, and inspire you to take game-changing action.
I’m passionate about motivating audiences to understand the importance of writing their life stories. In addition, I offer practical advice on how audiences of all ages and writing levels can begin to write their stories. I welcome the opportunity to share my signature legacy presentation at your next event!
Working with Dalene has been a pleasant experience and has made the difference in bringing forward my voice and the enhancement of my life experiences. I recommend Dalene to anyone who wants detailed and professional help with writing and publishing their story.
Charles Johnston, author of Driving Force
Dalene was a pleasure to work with. Her talent at shaping my words and chapters into a finished product (book) was done with professionalism and ease. She really knows how to structure “happenings” for better flow and makes excellent suggestions. Communication was always top priority and I always felt Dalene kept the project and me on task for deadlines.
Connie Hill, author of The Story of Grace
Herb has had so many compliments on his book. We are so thankful that he was able to finish it while still able to do so. Thanks to your expertise and steady leadership, it is something that the friends and family will always treasure.
Catherine & Herb McKim, author of An Exercise in Design
I’m ready when you are! Your book is right around the corner.
